The flexibility and homely nature of HQ Studios makes recording here a thoroughly enjoyable process, one that is creative and efficient, and one that always results in an excellent final product.

Over the years we have built up a selection of quality vintage and modern microphones, outboard equipment, virtual instruments and plugins, which allow you to achieve the sound you desire with ease. 

HQ is a fully equipped studio, offering the ideal recording environment for bands and solo artists looking to record a demo, mixtape, single or an album. We provide a digital recording environment based around a Mac Pro tools music system complemented by a professional vintage Neve V3 mixing console in Studio 2 or an Amek Rembrandt in Studio 1.

In our underground studio, we have a network of acoustically treated rooms to ensure the highest quality product possible. The studio control room was designed to provide first class acoustics, essential for studio monitoring. From the control room a large sound proofed window provides visual contact to the artists in the large live room. A connecting door leads into a drum room, photo/video room, live room, vocal booth and our second fully professional studio.

Our sound engineers are highly experience having over 30 years experience in recording, mixing and songwriting in a wide range of musical styles, including Indie, Pop, Folk, Jazz, Rock/Metal, Hip-Hop, R'n'B, Dance/Electro and classical.
